6 Tips For Extend The Life Of Laptop Battery
As we know , the lifetime of a laptop is more than 5 years , but unfortunately , the battery only can run 2 to 3 years . Then,here comes a problem,after the laptop battery dies , how does our laptop keep working ? Don’t say that you would never use your laptop outside , It is unrealistic, how inconvenient it would be ?
Maybe you think you have take care of your laptop more enough ,but your laptop battery still damaged, are you confusing? Laptop battery is more fragile than other parts of a laptop,but people always ignored.People clean laptop screen,clean keyboard,even mouse, to extend their running times, but battery? No,they even don’t know how to maintain it.
Today I will tell you some useful tips to extend the lifetime of a laptop battery.
Tip 1: The first tip is also the most important one.When you charge your laptop battery, make sure it is full-charged,when you use it,you should better not charge until it’s power off. Because the battery running time is depends on it’s charge and discharge cycles.In common, the charge and discharge cycles of a laptop battery is 500—800. So,don’t use it up casually.
Tip 2:If you are using laptop in a familiar place,your home or workplace,voltage stability,you can remove the battery.But if you are not in a voltage stability place ,never do this ,because instability voltage will damage your hard disk.
Tips 3: If you don’t use your laptop battery for a long time,you should make sure that you have put your battery in a dry place with 50% -90% power, or else your battery would be damaged.
Tip 4: Stop external devices such as USB devices and WIFI devices when not in use.those devices will increase the burden on the battery.
Tip 5: Clean your laptop battery contacts,you should clean the metal contacts 1-2 months.Clean battery contacts can help the power transfer from your battery more stable.
Tip 6:Dims the screen brightness,high brightness screen will cost more power,dim it if it’s not necessary, besides,it also can prove your eyes.
